Panasonic CM1 A Quick Hands On

After I posted briefly about it recently, Panasonic really have changed or made a move to change the "phoneography" market.

With a 1" sensor (7x the size of regular phone sensors)
A Leica 28mm f2.8 lens
Raw capabilities
Manual focusing, with peak focusing
 4K Video Recording

With a brilliantly intuitive, menu and full manual settings easy to use and setup the camera/phone is nothing short of fantastic.

Below are a selection of images taken with the phone with files, out of the camera files range from
8-12mb with RAW files clocking in at 20mb+
All images below have had slight alterations in Photoshop CC:

All images sized to 1000 pixels at the longest edge at 180 PPI, due to my extremely slow
rural internet connection. I unfortunately didn't get any where near as much time as I would of liked with the phone/camera. But on my first impressions, once my contract is up I am likely to be leaving "team iPhone" for this beautiful device.

I would love to see a few of the features found currently on the iOS app ProCamera such as separate, touch to focus and touch to metre options. Everything else is almost covered in the inbuilt camera app.

Once I get another hands on I will post again, but for now I would most definitely recommend this, this truly is a photographers camera phone.
