Earlier this week Sony withdrew the film "The Interview" from well what appears to be existence a decision many are now angry at and criticising, and in many ways I agree, there are many worse things out there than a comedic plot to kill the North Korean leader just take a look at half of the Turner Prize entries, much more shocking and likely to cause offence than a Seth Rogan film.
However, what if the decision was not made, what if the film was released and we saw a wave ofattacks across the Western World, what would have been said then, how would it of been revived that Sony knew of the threat and ignored it?
I think with it now being almost confirmed the hack has come from within North Korea, we may see more from this story, will Sony be prepared to risk another Eva elf arracks with an online release? With the worlds eyes now on North Korea are we likely to see a terroist attack? Unlikely.
And whilst this is a set back for
"Creative Freedom" I don't think we will see a drastic demise in risqué films, the outcry that has been seen shows the public and artists want to carry on with pushing the boundaries.
And that's about from this post its all a bit much ado about nothing.
I'm in London this weekend taking my Fuji Instax and a couple of ironically Sony cameras and not forgetting the trusty iPhone. I'm sure my Instagram will be flooded, if you want to see the results Inget or just what I post in general you can find me under the name of the Blog and Twitter account PhotoOomph
