I yesterday had the chance, to have a quick test and play, with the soon to be released, Panasonic FZ1000 and on a quick play in a short space I found it to be a superb camera. Light weight with a large sensor and fantastic lens. You can see a full specification here: http://www.panasonic.com/uk/consumer/cameras-camcorders/lumix-digital-cameras---point-and-shoot/bridge-cameras/dmc-fz1000eb.html
For me the most drawing specs are:
- 1-type High Sensitivity MOS Sensor
- 25-400mm lens - F2.8 - 4.0
- 4k Video recording (with the ability to pick out an 8mp still image from an individual frame)
- 5 Axis stabilisation
Now there are many, many more key features that this camera offers and I have only tested a very small number of them. Below is a test of the HD video shot hand held (I was unable to test 4k not having a powerful enough card with me).
All three images shot from the same spot, EXIF data can be found by clicking through to my Flickr page.
And a few random images:
If you are looking for an "all in one" camera, then this is one that you must consider.
