We have come to a point now, where most images we see, we expect to have been altered in someway, enhanced, "Photoshopped"
Yesterday I came across an article on the Huffington Post about Esther Honig a Blogger/Journalist/Photo-Journalist who asked the question how does the extent at which we manipulate vary from re-toucher to re-toucher and more interestingly from country to country you can read her full article about it here:

Now this made me think, what would I do, how would I of made this image "better" or the subject "beautiful" the fact of the matter was, for me there wasn't a lot that I though oh that really should be photoshopped.
Below is the image which was sent out and my edit albeit a very quick edit.
Original:
My edit:
It's strange to see how vast the difference is between is and the request make someone beautiful.
For me the editing was very basic and more on a photographic basis than anything else.
Keep an eye on Esther Honig's blog as it appears the edits she requested are still being revived. And I wouldn't be to supposed if a exhibition was to pop up (and hopefully travel around too)
I wonder how many more photographers/retouchers will be submitting extra images over the coming days to their own or to her.
