Have Sony just changed "Phoneography" forever?

At IFA 2013, Sony launched their latest product, aimed at the digital generation. With the growing number of powerful smart phones and social media platform we are now able to access anywhere with a 3g signal or WiFi connection the need/desire to be able to share our images on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook to name a few had never been greater.

The first company really to realise this and attempt a jump forward in the market to offer both better quality images than a phone but with the apps we are becoming ever more reliable on was Samsung with the Galaxy Camera. Still proving popular to this day as an all round gadget but never a first choice for image quality alone. Mainly due to the decision not to include a Schneider Lens along with other contributing factors.

A year on and Sony have come up with what in theory could be the answer to Gadget Geeks and photographers prayers with the QX10 and the QX100. Two "lens-style cameras"which in essence appear to be the WX200 and RX100 ii without the body.

Prices are likely to be around £180 and £360 respectively.

Below a video from Sony giving you all the details.
