Moo.com review & 10% discount off at Moo too

I have done a small post about www.Moo.com about a year ago when I was setting up the End of Year exhibition and then that was it. Recently I've been impressed with Moo's the updates and info I've got from the Moos Letter.

Like this news here:

"Have you heard of about.me? When you sign up, you build a personal landing page that allows you to collate all your online profiles like Flickr, Twitter and Facebook, which you can customise with a creative image and bio. Now, about.me have partnered with MOO so that you can put all your personal info directly onto your MOO Business Cards - just like photography mad Sam! Your cards will also display a QR Code that new contacts scan with their smartphones and land directly on your about.me profile. This way you can promote your online profile, offline. What could be easier?"

Which is a fantastic idea, I have not yet had chance to introduce this yet to a set of my business cards. I am currently holding off on this due to a few comments on the Moo website:

"This would be great IF the about.me pages were optimised for mobiles, but they’re not. This is the most frequent complaint from people scanning QR codes and should really be addressed before people are put off using them altogether."

Which at present seems quite a downfall but one moo cant help.

Whilst Moo.com only has five main products, these five products have a huge amount of possibilities from the obvious for the business and mini cards being used to just promote and advertise yourself to a possible client.
But the products have many other uses which the Moo community have come up with such as: Using the Moo stickers to brand Ebay packages, Using mini cards as gift tags and many more.

Here are a few storys that Moos Letter have noticed:

A Bloomin' Marvelous Idea

The small team that makes up Arena Flowers have been flaunting their beautiful MOO Business Cards every chance they get. Who’d blame them? With a different bouquet on every card, it’s like they’re giving out a mini-bouquet to every potential new customer (and who wouldn't love that?).

When the team at MOO saw the cards they had a neat idea; why not transform Arena's business cards into gift certificates by adding a unique code to each card? Now the paper bouquet turns into a real bouquet.

What are you doing?

Oh, Twitter! Everyone's on it, including us. Whether you're marketing to customers or chatting to friends, sharing your Twitter URL is now as valid as sharing your email address. Matt Sanford's Twitter card (right) made us laugh, while these, by Mike Coulter are a great talking point - and an interesting way to share customer testimonials with potential new clients.
If you like meeting people for real, why not take your MOO Business Cards to one of the 200 Twestival meetups around the world and help them raise money for some great charities.

(A Twitter fact).

MOO Research has shown that compared to the same period in July, the number of people putting a Twitter URL on the backs of their Business Cards has increased by 64% in August!

And the Last one from me

We've seen many different businesses and freelancers using our Business Cards and MiniCards. Some of you share photos over in the Flickr pool , and increasingly, others share speedy snaps with us on Twitter.
We discovered these cards from dotmaths tuition via Twitter - and the geeks among us thought they were *so* nice, we should get in touch and find out more about them. Matthew Handy is a private maths tutor and has created these wonderful study aids to promote his business and help his students at the same time. One of the most unexpectedly creative sets we've seen, you can find out more about them, over on the MOO blog - http://www.moo.com/blog/2009/10/15/theres-magic-in-sharing-mathematics/?utm_source=MOOsLETTER&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=utm_campaign=October_15th_UK_O

So not only do moo offer a extremely high quality standard of card, have a Twitter @overheardatmoo they also give you a loads of ideas of how to use your products to promote yourself and make yourself stand out.
Whilst there may be printers who offer a better bulk discount on cards, you are not able to to have over 50 Different styles of card with them.
They dont do the stamp sized stickers which are cute, unique and offer an easy way to brand items. The postcards and greetings cards are of such a high quality as long as your design and marketing is right they are easily sellable.

So if you havent used Moo before head over to www.Moo.com place your order and using this link and you'll save yourself 10%
The only way you would see me using anyone else but
Moo.com is if I need to do a bulk order where it would be fine to use the same boring card over and over again instead of giving people a card which suits them and will make them remember me.
